We are very proud to showcase our elegant interpretation of the Dão region.

Check out the score: Vinha Negrosa 2021 | Red = 96 “Wild floral aromas mingle with eucalyptus, lemon verbena and subtle spice, opening to a palate bursting with raspberry. It is marked by stony vibrancy and framed by energetic tannins which lead to a juicy and persistent finish.”

Textura Pura 2022 | Red = 95 “The palate is driven by a hot stone minerality and citrussy acidity, while tannins bring further energy. It is a wine that combines old vine concentration with a lightness of touch.”

Textura da Estrela 2021 | Red = 95 “Forest floor, bay leaf and crushed herbs dominate the nose, while the palate balances plush red berry fruit with remarkable freshness and electric tension. Energetic tannins support this chiselled, driven wine that reflects its origins.”

Textura Pura 2023 | White = 95 “Apple, pear and pithy citrus fruit combine with electric acidity, saline minerality and subtle oak framing. A textural wine, it captures the mountain freshness of the region.”

Textura da Estrela 2023 | Rosé = 94 and Discovery Rosé Wine of the Year “... exceptionally serious rosé built for far more than casual drinking. Pale salmon in colour, it immediately recalls Bandol style wines in both structure and ambition. Delicate aromas of sour cherry, pomegranate and subtle mint are supported by well integrated oak, while white pepper spice and eucalyptus add some interest and lift to the finish. Driven by vibrant acidity and impressive structure, it is an elegant and distinctive rosé wine.”

Textura da Estrela Tinta Pinheira 2023 | Red = 94 “Aromatically delicate and perfumed, it displays red cherry, floral notes and pine needle freshness. Finessed and wonderfully drinkable, it is a very well-judged expression of the variety.”

Encoberta 2021 | Red = 94 “The palate is generous and ripe, yet the acidity remains fresh. Granitic energy carries the wine which finishes with just a whisper of orange peel. Delicious!”

Constructo 2019 | Red = 93 “Richer and more mouthfilling, it combines plum, blueberry and ripe dark fruit with lavender, violet and subtle graphite notes. Bold yet balanced, it is a complex wine in only its second vintage.”

Textura da Estrela Jaen 2022 | Red = 93 “On the palate, wild raspberry and sour cherry combine with lively acidity and bright granitic energy. The tannins are sappy and grippy, providing structure and drive, while the warmth of the hot, dry vintage brings generosity and ripeness.”

Textura da Estrela 2023 | White = 93 “Intensely characterful, it combines vibrant lemon pith with wet stone minerality, saline notes and very well integrated oak. Forest freshness, pine resin and eucalyptus bring minty lift and complete a modern, precise expression of a Dão white wine.”
